Call for Short Course Proposals

We invite proposals for short courses to be taught at the 2026 Statistics and Trustworthy AI for Cross (X)-Domain Acceleration Conference, hosted by StatsUpAI and Department of Statistics, Harvard University, on August 1–2, 2026.

Short courses are an integral component of STAI-X and are designed to provide participants with in-depth, hands-on exposure to emerging and established topics at the intersection of statistics and trustworthy AI. We welcome proposals that cover methodological innovations, scalable computational tools, principled AI frameworks, and interdisciplinary applications across diverse scientific domains. Topics may include, but are not limited to, foundation models, agentic AI, uncertainty quantification, causal inference, generative modeling, and responsible AI. Submissions may be introductory or advanced in nature and should be accessible to a broad audience of statisticians, data scientists, and domain researchers, with an emphasis on practical insights and reproducible workflows.

Short courses will be scheduled on August 2, 2026 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM ET.
