Announcement Overview

We are excited to announce the Statistical Methods in Imaging (SMI) Conference 2026, hosted by the ASA Statistics in Imaging Section (SII) and held in Ann Arbor, Michigan. SMI 2026 is a premier gathering for researchers and practitioners developing statistical methodology, computational tools, and applications in imaging science.

Invited Session Proposals

Proposals showcasing cutting-edge imaging statistics research and interdisciplinary collaborations. Sessions can include a mix of senior and junior presenters.

SDSI Special Issue: SMI Conference Series Highlights

The ASA journal Statistics and Data Science in Imaging (SDSI) has launched a special issue entitled “SMI Conference Series Highlights.” All keynote, invited session, student paper, and poster contributions presented at SMI 2026 are eligible for submission.
